To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:

This qualification is for security risk analysts who apply technical security and operations expertise in a risk management environment. Security risk analysts understand the current threat environment and assess risk and advise clients on strategies to ensure the protection of electronic security systems and people and property in crowded places, as defined by Australia’s Strategy for Protecting Crowded Places from Terrorism (2017).

OPTION 1 – Study Online
Our standard online delivery option allows you to complete one unit per month for up to 12 months. During this time, you will have regular contact with a dedicated trainer to assist you with your studies. We recommend dedicating 20-25 hours per week to ensure you get the most out of your learning experience.
Our accelerated learning option may suit those with prior knowledge, skills or qualifications. This option allows you to complete two monthly units for up to six months. To succeed in this intensive program, we recommend dedicating 30-40 hours per week to your studies.
Upon successful enrolment, you will be granted access to our interactive and user-friendly eLearning platform. Each unit includes reading materials and a series of assessment activities that can be completed at your own pace and convenience. OPTION 2 – Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
