Designed not just for devoted HR managers but for anyone in a management or supervisory position, this certification teaches you how to mentor and coach staff while managing HR functions across your organisation.
This qualification comprises 12 units of competency — 7 core and 5 elective — covering performance development, employee and industrial relations, workforce planning, learning and development coordination, business risk management, and WHS policy implementation. It equips you with the skills to create a positive work environment that promotes employee growth and development.
The Diploma of Human Resources Management is the benchmark qualification for Australia's HR professionals. At 3CIR, we provide a programme specifically designed for military and emergency services personnel — people who already understand personnel management, team development, performance oversight, and organisational culture. You'll formalise your existing people management experience while building skills in recruitment strategy, employee relations, workforce planning, and remuneration management that translate directly to civilian HR leadership roles.
The BSB50320 Diploma of Human Resources Management unlocks senior HR career opportunities. Graduates can pursue roles as a Human Resources Manager ($105K–$165K), HR Consultant ($90K–$130K), HR Advisor ($85K–$105K), Change Manager, Senior HR Officer, or Employee Relations Manager. HR Managers earn an average of $132,000, with top earners reaching $200,000+ in senior or specialist roles.
The HR industry is rapidly evolving with the adoption of AI-driven tools, predictive analytics, and an increasing focus on psychosocial safety, diversity, and flexible work. Organisations face significant skills shortages, making qualified HR professionals critical to workforce planning and talent strategy. HR Manager salary potential has increased by 17% over 5 years, with strong demand across government, professional services, health care, and corporate sectors.
The course comprises 12 units — 7 core and 5 elective. Core units cover performance development facilitation, employee and industrial relations management, team learning and development coordination, workforce plan implementation, HR functions coordination, business risk management, and WHS policy. Elective units from Group A (HR) include recruitment, payroll, remuneration, rehabilitation, and disability inclusion. Group B (Transferable) offers communication, critical thinking, data analysis, budgets, and diversity leadership.
This is a nationally recognised qualification at AQF Level 5 — the gateway to HR management roles and a strong complement to leadership and management qualifications.
