Correctional Practice and Correctional Administration qualifications are nationally recognised credentials regulated under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and governed by the CSC Correctional Services Training Package. These qualifications cover offender management, custodial operations, security and control, case management, rehabilitation programs, correctional centre administration, and strategic planning within the corrections sector. Australian military personnel — particularly those with experience in detention operations, military policing, security, discipline enforcement, and personnel supervision — hold directly transferable competencies. Emergency services professionals with custodial, compliance, or community safety experience also qualify. Through RPL, 3CIR formally assesses this existing experience against qualification standards, issued by Asset College (RTO 31718).
Training and assessment are delivered under a third-party arrangement with Asset College RTO #31718.
