The course covers a range of essential skills and knowledge required to succeed in the workplace, divided across 5 core units and 5 elective units (10 units total):
Communication Skills: Essential skills to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and supervisors — developing your writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills to communicate clearly and concisely.
Teamwork Skills: Skills and knowledge needed to work collaboratively in teams — understanding team dynamics, roles, and responsibilities, and learning how to contribute effectively to team outcomes.
Work Skills: Essential skills to manage your own work and contribute to continuous improvement — developing time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and learning to identify and implement workplace improvement opportunities.
Workplace Safety: Contributing to the health and safety of yourself and others — understanding WHS obligations and applying safe work practices in any workplace environment.

Anyone with 2+ years of relevant work experience who wants to formalise their skills without going back to the classroom.
Complete one unit per month for up to 12 months. During this time, you'll have regular contact with a dedicated trainer to assist you with your studies. We recommend dedicating 20–25 hours per week to ensure you get the most out of your learning experience.
For those with prior knowledge, skills, or qualifications — complete two units per month for up to six months. This intensive option requires approximately 30–40 hours per week. Ideal if you want to fast-track your qualification.
Upon enrolment, you'll gain access to our interactive eLearning platform. Each unit includes reading materials and a series of assessment activities that can be completed at your own pace and convenience. The platform is accessible 24/7 — study on exercise, between shifts, or on deployment. No classrooms, no fixed intake dates.
