Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for the Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership (BSB80320) is a nationally regulated assessment process that evaluates a person's existing strategic transformation, organisational planning, financial strategy, and executive leadership skills against the 8 competency units required for this Australian Qualifications Framework Level 8 credential — the highest level in vocational education. Rather than completing formal study, experienced senior executives provide evidence of their existing skills — gathered from leading organisations at the strategic level — which is assessed by qualified assessors against each unit's performance criteria. Qualifications are issued by Asset College (RTO 31718), regulated by ASQA, and carry identical standing to credentials obtained through university graduate diploma pathways.
