Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) (BSB80120) is a nationally regulated assessment process that evaluates a person's existing organisational learning strategy, strategic transformation leadership, and capability development skills against the 8 competency units required for this Australian Qualifications Framework Level 8 credential — the highest level in vocational education. Rather than completing formal study, experienced L&D directors, training managers, and senior HR leaders provide evidence of their existing skills — gathered from leading organisational learning at executive level — which is assessed by qualified assessors against each unit's performance criteria. Qualifications are issued by Asset College (RTO 31718), regulated by ASQA, and carry identical standing to credentials obtained through traditional study or university pathways.
