Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for the Diploma of Security Risk Management (CPP50619) is a nationally regulated assessment process that evaluates a person's existing security risk assessment, threat analysis, security planning, and operations coordination skills against the 10 competency units required for this Australian Qualifications Framework Level 5 credential. Rather than completing formal study, experienced security professionals provide evidence of their existing skills — gathered from managing real security operations — which is assessed by qualified assessors against each unit's performance criteria. Qualifications are issued by Asset College (RTO 31718), regulated by ASQA, and carry identical standing to credentials obtained through traditional study pathways.
