Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for the Certificate IVI in Leadership and Management (BSB40520) is a nationally regulated assessment process that evaluates a person's existing communication, teamwork, time management, and workplace safety skills against the 11 competency units required for this Australian Qualifications Framework Level 3 credential. Rather than completing formal study, experienced workers provide evidence of their existing skills — gathered from their workplace — which is assessed by qualified assessors against each unit's performance criteria. Qualifications are issued by Asset College (RTO 31718), regulated by ASQA, and carry identical standing to credentials obtained through traditional study pathways.
