Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for the Certificate III in Entrepreneurship and New Business (BSB30220) is a nationally regulated assessment process that evaluates a person's existing business planning, financial management, compliance, and resource management skills against the 10 competency units required for this Australian Qualifications Framework Level 3 credential. Rather than completing formal study, experienced entrepreneurs and business operators provide evidence of their existing competencies — gathered from business operations, financial records, and client work — which is assessed by qualified assessors against each unit's performance criteria. Qualifications are issued by Asset College (RTO 31718), regulated by ASQA, and carry identical standing to credentials obtained through traditional study pathways.
