You may have heard of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), but what exactly, and how does it work? RPL assesses your existing skills and knowledge against the Competency Standards for a nationally accredited qualification. The process acknowledges the skills and knowledge you already have, regardless of how, when or where you acquired them. It could be from paid work, life experience, volunteering, hobbies or interests, previous study or anything else!

Step 3: Gather Your Evidence
This is where the hard work starts! You must gather all the evidence demonstrating your skills and knowledge for your chosen qualification. This might include previous study records, work portfolios, resumes, references, or anything else that shows us what you know and can do.
