Have you ever felt like your skillset is better suited to a leadership role than the one currently occupied? If so, it might be time for some professional development. A Diploma or Certificate IV in Project Management will help boost soft skills such as project management techniques (including understanding scope) and hard ones like working knowledge of costs & benefits when engaging with stakeholders while also developing confidence through public speaking training!
The Diploma of Project Management will provide foundational knowledge in project planning, initiating, executing, and evaluating the most complicated proposals while strengthening your abilities to lead a team. A Certificate IV, however, serves as an initial certification for those new to the industry or just developing their knowledge base.
If time is a barrier to beginning your studies, you can undertake online classes to work around your schedule. All our courses are flexible and can be completed wherever you can access a computer and an internet connection. Another way to earn the Certificate IV or Diploma of Project Management is by applying for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). This process will assess your competency, which you may have acquired through informal and formal learning to see if you can meet the requirements for the course. Consider this route if you already have sufficient experience in project management, and you want to qualify sooner.
Once you earn your qualification, you’ll have a better chance of getting hired or promoted to Project Leader, Program Administrator, or Project Management Facilitator. An employer can better recognise your ability to manage and lead projects when you can show that you have the Certificate IV or Diploma of Project Management.
