To get your White Card, you'll need to complete the 'Prepare to work safely in the construction Industry CPCCWHS1001 (White Card) certification. It is mandatory training for anyone to work on a construction site in Queensland.
This White Card Course will give you a fundamental understanding of:
- Work health and safety laws for construction sites
- Common construction site hazards
- How to control the associated risks
- Incident and emergency response procedures
- Construction site communication and reporting systems
Upon successful completion of this qualification, you'll receive a 'Statement of Attainment' for CPCCWHS1001 and your White Card will be posted to your address the following day.
Competency-based training can help learners retain their knowledge and skills more quickly than in traditional classroom settings. With six hours of instruction, the learner will progress at a higher rate through each unit -- meaning less time spent on repetitive learning and more time to fully absorb required material!

Our construction White card Course Brisbane is approximately 6 hours long. The class is conducted in person because the regulations require you to be present for the training face to face.
