Looking to gain some office administration skills to start your career in a business environment? The Certificate II in Business is for you.

This course will assist you in learning a range of routine tasks using office equipment including a computer and brush up on your communication and writing skills.


Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a Certificate II in Business (BSB20115). There are various opportunities for employment following this course including the following job roles:

Administration assistant
Clerical worker
Data entry operator
Information desk clerk
Office junior


You will gain knowledge and experience in areas such as:

Health and safety of self and others

Deliver a service to customers

Communicate in the workplace

Work effectively with others

11 elective units of which:

7 elective units must be selected from the elective units listed below
4 elective units may be selected from the elective units listed below, or any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course at the same qualification level
if not listed below, 2 of the 4 elective units may be selected from either a Certificate I or a Certificate III qualification.
Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
