COURSE DESCRIPTION

If you are an experienced Work Health and Safety practitioner? Have your skills recognised and receive this qualification through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Advanced Diploma of Work Health and Safety is suitable for people who apply advanced practical knowledge to coordinate, facilitate and maintain the Work Health and Safety (WHS) program in one or more fields of work in an organisation, such as a WHS practitioner or HR practitioner.

CERTIFICATION & OUTCOME

On successful completion of this course, the participant will receive an Advanced Diploma of Work Health and Safety (BSB60619).

This is suited to the following job roles:

Work Health and Safety Advisor
Work Health and Safety Auditor
Work Health and Safety Manager
Work Health and Safety Specialist
Senior Work Health and Safety Consultant

 

You will gain knowledge and experience in areas such as:

Apply legislative frameworks for WHS

Facilitate WHS activities

Implement WHS risk management

Evaluate the WHS performance of organisations

Packaging Rules

Total number of units = 11

5 core units  plus

6 elective units,  of which:

  • at least 3 elective units must be from Group A
  • for the remaining 3 units:
  • up to 3 units may be selected from Group B
  • if not listed, 1 unit may be selected from a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course.

Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
