This course will develop your practical first aid knowledge and emergency management skills, helping you deliver assistance across a range of complex situations including community and workplace settings. Learn how to administer:

- Various first aid techniques
2 Days Face to Face – 8:00am to 5:00pm (with additional online content)
If you already hold a current HLTAID003 Provide First Aid certificate and wish to upgrade to this qualification, you will only need to attend the second day of this course. Purchase a one day course for \$200 at ticket selection.
Students will also be required to complete online components of this course prior to and after attending the workshop.

On completion of this course, you’ll be awarded a Certificate II in Security Operations (CPP20218) qualification. With this, you can apply to the Office of Fair Trading for a Class 1 Security Providers Licence, making you eligible to become a:
- Security Officer – Unarmed Guard
- Security Officer – Crowd Controller
- Security Officer – Monitoring
- Basic English Language, Literacy & Numeracy skills
- Be 18 years or older
- Have not been convicted of a disqualifying offence in the past 10 years
- A Unique Student Identification (USI) number, available here
